Meet the Backdoor Springsters....

... a local football team we sponsor made up of church youth.

These boys' dreams came true playing their first ever match on a proper pitch with proper goals They tuned up last year as they were to play a fully kitted out college team... and won 4-0! It was a day they said they would treasure forever. All for the price of a taxi ride.

We have since sponsored them with a kit & watched them win their first ever tournament. We now aim to establish a training programme for younger boys. I believe sport is a key evangelism tool - especially amongst youth who live for the game & have little else to do! - and also a way of bringing youth from different backgrounds together.
