With an education system that is failing many many young South Africans I believe that it is vitally important that these 5-6 year olds are not already behind by the time that they start school. We want to see that they get as good a start to life as possible. Pre-schools play an invaluable role in teaching children how to learn and develop, mainly through play. We aim to train the teachers & provide resources to open doors for their children & then in turn reach out to others in their communities. We are also able to set up simple initiatives like feeding schemes and tooth-brushing to ensure that we know these children at least have a good meal once a day & are brushing their teeth. We are also about to start a discipleship course and regular prayer meetings for all of our teachers.
